Just as Victoria’s Secret decided to cancel its televised fashion show after 20 years on the air, Rihanna steps in with the broadcast of her Savage x Fenty Autumn/Winter 2019 collection, which will debut during NYFW New York Fashion Week (Sept. 5-12), followed by an online presentation.

A week later, on September 20, the star studded, body-inclusive show will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries.

Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which has been raising eyebrows for charging a $50 membership fee, just received $50 million in fresh funds from rapper Jay Z’s Marcy Venture Partners and Avenir Growth Capital. Savage x Fenty, a joint-venture between the pop star and Technstyle Fashion Group, has been growing fast, taking market share from established names like Victoria’s Secret.
