BAROQCO´s Berlin & Germany premier in the popular Berliner Business Wohnzimmer
Berlin In time – at 3 pm on Friday, the 12th of November 2021 – all five models, cast in San Remo and in Berlin – were strutting over the catwalk of the Berliner Business Wohnzimmer – wearing fine jewelry of the latest daily wear and couture BaroQco collection.
Flashlights of photographers and press people, influencers and PR people of various media and newspaper agencies – were highlighting and opening a whole series of 7 planned prête-à-porter shows of the uprising haute couture label by Imelda and Eduardo Liem from Amsterdam, under the alert eyes of Bastian Lee Jones, who organized the PR with his media company LebenslustTV® Ltd. and Hans-Joachim Stillisch who checked and monitored if everything was according to the strict anti corona rules.
Also the sponsors Ching Seng Lieuw (Singapore), Margit Tietz (Leipzig, Germany) and two VIP guests, the Dutch dragqueen legend, Jeanine and her mentee Sanne van de Meer came from Eindhoven, Netherlands and Muah Sylvie Mopita.
It started years ago with Günter Weig and Karol, who are regular partners of the Berliner Business Wohnzimmer, who started doing regular model shootings in that special venue. Hans-Joachim Stillisch, who is beside Bastian Lee Jones, the second owner of the exclusive venue, had the impulse to contact Ching Seng Lieuw – and invited him to the Berliner Business Wohnzimmer.
After the unwritten rules of networking – one recommendation lead to the other. Loving the special retro interiors of the venue – Ching Seng brokered an rapprochement with BaroQco. „We talked for hours several times on zoom and WhatsApp“, Bastian Lee Jones relates, while doing proper inquiries about the label, its Paris, Los Angeles, and South East Asia haute-couture fashion shows before the times of lockdown and Corona craze and challenges. BaroQco´s artistic craftsmanship – their endless list of VIP brand ambassadors like Black Chyna, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyra Banks, RuPaul, and Mr. Gay Universe are quite impressive.
There was an instant sympathy between Imelda, Eduardo, and Bastian – not only because of their Indonesian heritage.
BaroQco – who worked with Swarovski Crystals – wants to bring feminity and its expression for women and men to a higher new level. That is a mission, resonating with the zeitgeist and with the mission of Berliner Business Wohnzimmer as a meeting point and LebenslustTV® Ltd. Meticulously, Imelda and Eduardo Liem are creating and executing relentlessly from scratch their rings, bracelets, necklaces, ear clips, and even royal neo-rococo like colliers, and tiaras they are selling especially selling to model and fashion agencies organizing major international beauty pageants.
“It is thrilling to enter a new market like Germany, especially Berlin. The most eastern Metropole and capital of the western world in Europe, full of rich history and its magnificent reputation as Europe’s center for creativity, politics, economy, and liberty” Eduardo affectionately explains their plan and their engagement. „And it is very important for us“ adds Imelda „ that´s why we bring along our Marcel Schwab, who is the photographer, who is accompanying us and who is organizing several major events in the Netherlands himself!
Not to forget one of our dearest and loyal clients, the organizer of the Dutch Queen Awards, Jeanine, who loves to present his BaroQco collection!“
The perfect venue – with its retro 90 its Ku´Damm style, reflects with its concept of being exclusive, discreet, safe, and a mix of business meeting and working space for companies and agencies, and its living room of an apartment like coziness is with its black walls and carpets with white Gründerzeit decor and baroque like mirrors and interior the perfect place for fashion shootings, catwalks, shows, and music video shootings. LebenslustTV® Ltd – the in-house PR and media agency that worked with glamour faces and Veronique & Alexander Kern SMC model management agency and their stars like Nicole Atieno (Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CO5y9PYq21W/, who regularly walks for Gucci, Prada, and all the big names. Alexander, who Karl Lagerfeld himself called „the eye“ – for discovering new popular model talents is one of the fashion industry is experienced highlighting labels like BaroQco appropriately.
Perfectly to invite the Berlin society ladies, who loved the whole concept. Bianka Aversente, suggested by Bastian Lee Jones, as a prominent society lady and model, widely known in Berlin – was the perfect model joker to attract the guests attending the several shows, accompanied by Natali Fuebbi – who represented the ladylike grace and elegance of BaroQco.
The younger beauties, Caroline Michalcikova, Giorgia Giaciglio, and Federica Driusso expressed the vibrant timelessness of the exquisite blinging pieces. Models from Berlin, Germany, Italy, and the Czech Republic were representing fantastically BaroQco and reflecting and underlining the international high-level haute couture standard. The applause never stopped. The selected music gave everybody goosebumps while being absorbed by the voluptuous beauty of the collections.
Invitations also had been sent to members of the subcultural scene of drag queens and the LGBTQ plus community. Jeanine, who is planning the next big international dragqueen event (Dutch Queen Awards) was very happy to have come to Berlin (LebenslustTV interview on youtube: https://youtu.be/0FB-PAIab8o) – loved the very well organized Berlin event very much – as well as her mentee, Sanne van de Meer – who will get into contact to the Berlin dragqueen scene.
BaroQco performed with a bang and left an impressive premier! Self-speaking this needs to be continued in the near future. First personal connections to future partners and clients are crucial for growing brand awareness and for growth in general. It is a matter of presence and personal engagement for every label wanting to succeed and to prosper.
Imelda and Eduardo Liem understood -so we can say and quote: they came, they saw, they conquered. Congratulations! Becoming well known and becoming highly demanded in Germany – because – everything BaroQco does is made and manufactured in Germany and simply Made in Europe – is only a matter of time.
