77th Golden Globes 2020 Awards – nominees list
Golden Globes 2020 TV Channel : Hollywood is preparing for the first major awards ceremony of 2020 on Sunday night (January 5), when we will learn who triumphs and who walks away empty-handed from the 77th Golden Globe Awards.
Will the streamers dominate the show? Netflix leads the field on 17 film nominations, followed by HBO on 15, and Hulu and Amazon Studios on five apiece. How many nods can they convert into statuettes? Can Noah Baumbach’s divorce drama Marriage Story prevail in all six of its categories?
And in a night that promises glory for the British Isles with more than 20 individual nominees, the most compelling performance of the lot might just come from Ricky Gervais. The enfant terrible makes his fifth appearance as show host and all eyes will be on whether he can produce a stint worthy of his thrillingly notorious 2011 gig.
In the TV categories, HBO’s Chernobyl and Netflix duo The Crown and Unbelievable are in contention for four nominations each. Will this be the year Emmys winner and Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge claims her first globe?
The ceremony starts at 5pm Pacific Time / 8pm Eastern Time in the US, which translates to 1am on Monday morning for dedicated viewers in the UK. In continental Europe that equates to 2am onwards. NBC’s red carpet coverage starts one hour before the ceremony.
The show airs on NBC in the US, and cord-cutters can watch it on the NBC website or app, or on streaming platforms such as YouTube TV, Hulu Live, AT&T TV Now, Sling, and Fubo.
For years now, MTV’s award ceremony has been the limelight of perfection for this reason. The awards ceremony from MTV features a diverse mix of actors and up-coming faces in the music and TV industry. A viewer watching the award ceremony also gets to watch their favorite Hollywood icons putting the red carpet on fire.
Well, before the host for this year’s 77th Golden Globes Zachary Levi starts up with all the celebrations our blog here is going to be the perfect guide for you all to catch the ceremony live online. Along with that, it will also cover other significant details on the same. So without any further ado lets head straight out to what you have been looking for since the time you visited this page.
