New York City has been named Top Global Fashion Capital
NEW YORK FASHION WEEK 2020
New York is ready for an even thinner Fashion Week (February 6-12), overshadowed by the Oscars and the effects of the coronavirus named COVID-19 today. Even CFDA Chairman Tom Ford, who recently vowed to bring back the thunder to NYFW, has left the event to show his collection in LA on Friday, just prior to the Academy Awards (February 9), begging some to question the entire purpose of fashion shows. One hopeful glimmer: New York just beat Paris as top global fashion capital.
